‘The Colour and the Shape’ is the second studio album by Foo Fighters. Produced by Gil Norton, it was released through Capitol Records and the group’s own Roswell Records on May 20, 1997.
After the debut (pretty much a Dave Grohl solo album) became an international success, Grohl recruited guitarist Pat Smear, bassist Nate Mendel, and drummer William Goldsmith to form the band’s full lineup.
It’s got “Monkey Wrench” and “Everlong” on it.
