Jagjaguwar reissue of our heroes’ second album from way back in 1987. And it’s maybe possibly arguably their best.
Little Fury Things perfects the melodic slacker vibe. You have the sludgefest of Sludgefest. Lou’s lo-fi experimentalism emerging on Poledo. J’s guitar heroics throughout. And “Lose” might be one of their greatest but overlooked songs.
NB though, it does NOT include their cover version of The Cure’s “Just Like Heaven” which often crops up as bonus track on the CD.
